Departing from the idea of becoming an object this performative exploration dealt with the question, how to dismantle the dichotomic difference between subject and object? Conceptually this question fits into post-human debates as it challenges traditional understanding of these categories and presents an intermediate space: an object with agency. The vulnerability and humility provided by this experience led me to think about how agency is something to have in relation to a context; being treated as an object that public felt in liberty to touch while not being recognized as a sentient thing was pretty scary. Inside this object, the process of becoming it implied having an existential journey, where breath, plasticity, and matter were part of the same process.
