Design and development of dance curricular program for public middle schools

CDMX, Mexico

This project was created in collaboration with Sobre La Tierra Esta El Lago AC and the Public Education Secretary of Mexico aiming to provide a dance curricular program for public middle schools with no budget for dance specialized spaces. We created a program for dance and qualified over 60 different schools for implementing this program. The central focus for our curricular design was to provide inclusive spaces of collaboration and imagination for the students through the practice of dance that incorporated the knowledge of teachers and students equally.
